New Electric Bicycle
"Optibike - The New Star of Electric Bicycles..."
The Optibike 400 was designed to satisfy the needs of American riders. It combines speed, long run times and exceptional hill climbing ability
in an integrated package with style.
The Opti-Bike is a full-suspension electrically assisted bicycle, and it is a goer! It is not one of these electric bikes that just
crawls along.
When you pedal on flat streets, you can comfortably cruise at 25-30 mph without breaking a sweat.
Derivative Power Control
Speed is achieved with Derivative Power Control which allows for incredible acceleration while still providing long run times.
When accelerating or shifting the DPC allows large bursts of power.
Fuzzy logic in the Optibike computer continually adjusts the power to provide for maximum distance.
Generally all electric-assist bikes give you some boost on gentle terrain, but getting up a steep climb takes much more physical effort than
just riding a normal bike.
The battery and motor don't provide enough extra kick to make up for their mass. But on the Optibike 400, you can pull up more watts with a
twist of the motorcycle-style throttle.
Large Battery - Longer Rides
Many electric bikes don't have enough battery life to get you very far. The common electric bike might have snap-in battery packs that can be
removed for charging or carried along as spares.
The slick styling of the Opti-Bike allows a large battery to be built into the front frame triangle and that give the bike two to seven times
as much energy stored as removable types. You can count on an hour or more of riding time.
The complete integration of the Optibike 400 is superior to all other electric bikes. Designed from the ground up for high performance,
safety, and ease of operation, the Optibike is faster and runs longer than any other bike.
Front and rear long travel suspension with disc brakes gives the rider confidence. The fully integrated package gives the utmost in
convenience allowing the rider to ride on road, off road and the up or down the steepest hills.
Optibike is in a class of its own.
Faster Charging - Sleek Styling
Proprietary, microprocessor-controlled electronics combine the motor controller, battery charger and rider interface in an integrated package,
offering faster charging and acceleration in a smaller package than other electric bikes.
The Monocoque frame has sleek styling and a low center of gravity for stable handling. All electronics and long-running NiMH battery are
safely housed inside the frame.
Performance Specifications:
